Find your screen resolution

Screens, schmeens … Why do you even care?

Well for one, because it will make you look very smart! More importantly knowing your screen resolution will help you choose the correct wallpaper size to download. If the aspect ratio is off, then your wallpaper will be stretched and things will look, well, uuuuugleeee. We know if you are astute enough to download one of our very cool wallpapers, then you probably also want it to look good at the same time!

So here we go:

on the PC: Windows Vista  |  Win7
on the Mac (directly below):

Click on the System Preference icon on your dock.

Inside System Preferences, click on Displays

You will now see your screen size highlighted with a gray bar underneath. That is the desktop wallpaper size you will need to download.

Windows Vista

From the START menu, choose START | CONTROL PANEL

When you see the screen below, click on Appearance & Personalization

next, click on Display Settings

You will now see your screen size underneath the resolution slider bar. That is the desktop wallpaper size you will need to download.

Windows 7

Right click on your desktop and choose Personalize

Click on Display (lower right corner)

You will now see your screen size indicated in the button circled below. That is the desktop wallpaper size you will need to download.
